Industry

Business setup and professional services, Saudi Arabia

Business challenge

A high-ticket service where one confirmed client matters more than a hundred inquiries.

Marketing problem

Platforms report leads and conversations, not sales, so the cheapest result can hide the campaign that actually earns.

Strategic approach

Record every campaign’s spend, leads, confirmed sales and revenue in one workbook so decisions rest on sales, not on cost per lead alone.

Marketing strategy

  • Test different objectives side by side: engagement, sales messages and website leads
  • Write each ad around one clear promise, such as full foreign ownership or registration in weeks
  • Compare lead-to-sale conversion by campaign
  • Spend on what sells, not on what is cheapest

Execution plan

  • Four campaigns launched in July, mostly video creative
  • Weekly capture of spend, reach, frequency and link clicks
  • Sales confirmed with the team and entered against the campaign that produced them
  • A funnel sheet showing cost per lead, lead-to-sale rate and revenue per sale

Campaign structure

  • Sales campaign: three ways to set up a company, WhatsApp messages
  • Engagement campaign: setting up an online store in Saudi Arabia, video
  • Two website-lead campaigns: foreign ownership, and registration within weeks

Creative direction

  • Short videos, each built on one promise
  • Direct headlines: full foreign ownership, clear pricing from the first consultation
  • Calls to action matched to the objective: WhatsApp message, learn more, get a quote

Solution

A single sheet that follows each campaign from spend to confirmed sale, which shows at once which campaign pays and which only produces activity.

Business impact

July 2026: EGP 10,368.77 spent, 109 leads and conversations, 2 confirmed sales and SAR 41,000 in revenue. Both sales came from the sales campaign, which cost EGP 3,704.92 for 31 conversations. The engagement video produced the most conversations (70) and no sales, and the two website-lead campaigns cost EGP 265–396 per lead. ROAS is not stated here because spend is in EGP and revenue in SAR.

Key learnings

  • Volume of conversations did not predict sales
  • The cheapest lead was not the one that paid
  • Two sales is a small sample: the next month should confirm the pattern
